Located in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia is Kuantan, the capital of Pahang Darul Makmur. The town is on its way to become well-developed, however Kuantan is better known for its fantastic beaches, warm hospitality and friendly people. The best time to make your way down to the town is between June and July where the weather is perfect for those who want to lay under the sun all day long.

The locals here speak with a northern accent resembling that of its neighbouring states of Terengganu and Kelantan,  hence its food and cultural elements are also quite similar.
